How to Register for Seminary
Note: When registering, the church registration link will ask what building you prefer. If you are planning to attend the early-morning Drexel class, please select Katy Texas Stake – Katy Mills building. If you select the Drexel Building it will place you with the Bridgeland Stake.
Attendance
Seminary Dates:
1st Semester – 8/14 – 12/12
2nd Semester – 1/7 – 5/9
*Seminary will not be held on any day that school is not in session.
- To receive credit, students must attend seminary 75% each semester. Make-up lessons can be completed if necessary.
- Online lessons for the online class as well as make-up lessons for all seminary students should include all of the "Questions to Answer" sections as well as questions from bullet-points found throughout the lesson. Each make-up lesson should reflect 30-40 minutes worth of work.
- Completed make-up Lessons should be given to the seminary teacher BEFORE the end of the semester.
- AFTER the semester has ended, all completed make-up work should be sent to Ronda Meldrum.
- Make-up work needs to be completed from the book of scripture student missed.
Required Student Reading
We encourage all seminary students to have a personal scripture reading goal as we study each course.
Students will also read the selected scripture passages each term. The required reading includes pages from the book of scripture for each course. These pages have been carefully selected because of their doctrinal depth and richness.
Daily Online Lessons & Friday Lessons
- Online Class Attendance Includes: 4 online lessons per week PLUS one in-person class on Wednesday night at the Heritage Bluff Building (8:15-9:15pm).

Assessment & Doctrinal Mastery
Assessment
The Learning Assessment will move from an individual assessment to a group review. Students who are absent on the day of the assessment may take it on their own, with others, or with their teacher.
Credit is given when the assessment is returned to the teacher.
