Changes to the Katy Stake Presidency
Mark Allen and his wife, Audralyn Allen, were recently called to serve as Mission Leaders in the West Virginia Charleston Mission. You can view the announcement of their calling in the Church News by clicking here.
As a result, the stake presidency has been formally reorganized as follows:
Stake President: Shad Hanis
1st Counselor: Jonathan Shurtz
2nd Counselor: Mike Scott
31th Anniversary Christmas Concert with Epiphany Catholic Church
On Sunday, December 15th, the 31th Annual Christmas Concert entitled “Proclaim Thy Holy Birth” was held with over 200 participants from the membership of Epiphany of the Lord Catholic Community and the Katy Stake of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. This special concert was standing room only, and featured favorite selections from past concerts with a focus on messages and songs about the birth of the Savior Jesus Christ. President Shad Hanis and Father Tom Lam each shared messages highlighting the collaboration of their congregations over the years. It was a joyous time of celebration for all!
